...MINOR ASHFALL POSSIBLE IN NELSON LAGOON AND PORT MOLLER...
SATELLITE IMAGERY AND PILOT REPORTS INDICATE THAT PAVLOF VOLCANO
CONTINUES TO PRODUCE A STEADY EMISSION OF ASH. LOW LEVEL WINDS ARE
CARRYING THE ASH NORTHEASTWARD FROM THE VOLCANO.
AREAS NORTHEAST OF PAVLOF VOLCANO INCLUDING THE COMMUNITIES OF
NELSON LAGOON AND PORT MOLLER MAY SEE A DUSTING OF ASHFALL THROUGH
LATE THIS EVENING.
PEOPLE ARE CAUTIONED TO AVOID EXCESSIVE EXPOSURE TO ASH...ESPECIALLY
THOSE WITH RESPIRATORY SENSITIVITIES. PROTECT CRITICAL ELECTRONICS
AND OTHER EQUIPMENT FROM CONTAMINATION.

SATELLITE IMAGERY AND PILOT REPORTS INDICATE THAT PAVLOF VOLCANO

MARINE AREAS NORTHEAST OF PAVLOF VOLCANO...INCLUDING PAVLOF
BAY...HERENDEEN BAY AND AREAS ALONG THE NORTH SIDE OF THE ALASKA
PENINSULA NEAR NELSON LAGOON AND PORT MOLLER MAY SEE MINOR ASHFALL
THROUGH LATE THIS EVENING.
VESSELS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION.
THIS SITUATION CONTINUES TO BE MONITORED CLOSELY AND NEW STATEMENTS
WILL BE ISSUED AS NECESSARY.
