Spotter Signup Form

The National Weather Service in Anchorage is looking for volunteer weather spotters in our forecast area, which includes South Central Alaska, the Mat-Su, the Copper River Basin, the Kenai Peninsula, Prince William Sound and surrounding areas, the Kuskokwim Valley and Delta, Bristol Bay and the Alaska Peninsula, and the Aleutians and Pribilofs.

The Warning Coordination Meteorologist (WCM) is the NWS representative that manages the spotter program. The WCM for the Anchorage Forecast Office is Sam Albanese. If you have questions about the spotter program or would like to inquire about scheduled training sessions, please contact Sam at 266-5105. We will post the dates and locations of upcoming training on this web site. We will also contact you via email or telephone.
