A MARINE WEATHER STATEMENT HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS...
  COOK INLET NORTH KALGIN ISLAND... 

AT 754 PM AKDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM NEAR TYONEK 
WITH HEAVY RAIN...FREQUENT LIGHTNING...AND GUSTY WINDS...MOVING 
SOUTH OVER UPPER COOK INLET WATERS. THIS STORM MAY WEAKEN AS IT 
ENCOUNTERS THE SLIGHTLY COOLER AND MORE STABLE MARINE ENVIRONMENT. 

ADDITIONAL ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH THIS EVENING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
