...HEAVY RAINS POSSIBLE NEAR THE ALASKA RANGE AND SOUTHEAST
   INTERIOR WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY...

SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME WIDESPREAD OVER THE ALASKA RANGE
AND SOUTHEAST INTERIOR WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND CONTINUE THROUGH
FRIDAY. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF BETWEEN ONE AND THREE INCHES ARE
EXPECTED FROM WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY OVER THE ALASKA
RANGE...THE DELTA AREA...AND THE UPPER YUKON VALLEY AND FORTY MILE
COUNTRY. AT THIS TIME ONE INCH OF RAIN LOOKS LIKELY OVER MUCH OF
THIS AREA. THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF UP TO 3 INCHES IN SOME
AREAS...ESPECIALLY ALONG THE ALASKA RANGE.

THESE RAINS COULD CAUSE FLOODING FROM THURSDAY THROUGH THIS
WEEKEND IN RIVERS DRAINING THE ALASKA RANGE...AND IN THE DELTA
AREA...AND THE UPPER YUKON VALLEY AND FORTY MILE COUNTRY. THERE
IS STILL UNCERTAINTY AS TO THE EXACT AMOUNT AND LOCATIONS OF THE
HEAVY RAIN AND TO THE POSSIBILITY OF FLOODING.

PEOPLE GOING INTO THE THE ALASKA RANGE...THE DELTA AREA...AND THE
UPPER YUKON VALLEY AND FORTY MILE COUNTRY LATER THIS WEEK SHOULD
BE ALERT FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF RAPIDLY RISING STREAMS AND RIVERS
ALONG WITH POSSIBLE MUDSLIDES.
