THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FAIRBANKS HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WATCH FOR THE GOODPASTER RIVER

* FROM MIDNIGHT AKDT TONIGHT THROUGH LATE THURSDAY NIGHT

* RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES WITH LOCAL AMOUNTS UP
  TO 3 INCHES ARE EXPECTED THROUGH THURSDAY.

* HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE THE GOODPASTER RIVER TO RISE TO NEAR
  FLOOD STAGE. FLOODING WILL BE POSSIBLE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING BASED ON
CURRENT FORECASTS.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE
FLOOD WARNINGS. THOSE LIVING IN AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD BE

  COUNTRY NORTHWEST OF THE TAYLOR HIGHWAY...EASTERN ALASKA RANGE 
  WEST OF THE TOK CUTOFF.

* UNTIL 215 AM AKDT FRIDAY

* RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES WITH LOCAL AMOUNTS UP TO
