THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FAIRBANKS HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY EVENING THROUGH
SATURDAY AFTERNOON. 

* SNOW...8 TO 14 INCHES.

* BLOWING SNOW...REDUCING VISIBILITY TO ONE HALF MILE OR LESS AT
  TIMES.

* TIMING...SNOW HEAVY AT TIMES WILL BEGIN FRIDAY EVENING AND
  CONTINUE THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON. WINDS WILL INCREASE FRIDAY
  EVENING AND CONTINUE THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON. 

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES WILL BE DIFFICULT.
