THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FAIRBANKS HAS ISSUED A HIGH SURF
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THURSDAY TO 6 AM AKDT
SATURDAY. 

* WAVES AND SURF...6 TO 8 FOOT WAVES BREAKING NEAR SHORE. STORM
  SURGE 1 TO 2 FEET.

* TIMING...SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE THROUGH THE DAY THURSDAY
  AND CONTINUE THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING. HIGH SURF WILL DEVELOP
  THURSDAY EVENING AND CONTINUE INTO SATURDAY MORNING. EXPECT A 1
  TO 2 FOOT STORM SURGE AS 6 TO 8 FOOT WAVES BREAK NEAR SHORE.
