THIS WEEKEND...

UNUSUALLY HOT AND DRY WEATHER WILL SETTLE INTO SOUTHCENTRAL ALASKA
BEGINNING FRIDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL
STRETCH FROM THE MID 70S TO MID 80S THROUGHOUT THE REGION WITH THE
HOTTEST DAY LIKELY OCCURRING ON SATURDAY.

SEA BREEZES...WINDS BLOWING FROM SEA TO LAND...WHICH USUALLY
MODERATE AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WILL BE LIMITED DURING THIS
TIMEFRAME. ALSO...PERIODS OF GUSTY WINDS IN
SEWARD...WHITTIER...AND VALDEZ WILL AID IN WARMING TEMPERATURES
EVEN FURTHER.
