THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ANCHORAGE HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON AKDT
TODAY.

* LOCATION...ANCHORAGE AND THE HILLSIDE.

* SNOW...UP TO 3 INCHES AT LOWER ELEVATIONS...HIGHEST AMOUNTS OVER
  SOUTH AND WEST ANCHORAGE. ALONG THE HILLSIDE...TOTAL SNOW
  ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 7 INCHES.

* TIMING...THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED
  THROUGH MID MORNING...WITH GRADUALLY DIMINISHING SNOWFALL RATES
  THROUGH NOON.

* IMPACTS...WET SURFACE ROADS COMBINED WITH ACCUMULATING SNOW ON
  TOP WILL RESULT IN SLICK ROAD CONDITIONS THROUGH THE MORNING.
